The dream is born from the "II Concentration of Canyoneers in the Serra da Freita" held in 2011, with strong adhesion by the lovers and practitioners of the sport, having had repercussions internationally.
Primary school Cabreiros, located in Cabreiros - Arouca, it was the place for us to be seen as framed before our needs. This is due to the fact that this space is in a place well situated in relation to the Canyoning practice of local and able to support all practitioners, enabling them to take advantage of these facilities.
Cabreiros would be the privileged place as it is where there is lot of rivers, and the River Pequenino and Ribeira da Covela 5 minutes from its entrance, Frades Superior 15 minutes from its entrance, Frades Inferior to 25 minutes of your entry being all these approaches on foot, and also presenting the Rio Caima, Pena Amarela, River Teixeira, Ribeira da Castanheira, Côto de Boi, easily accessible by car.
With the above-mentioned points, and with the ECDC a club whose main activity Canyoning, would be of great interest for us to explore and develop this site for the sport.
